JEWISH HISTORY
ZIONISM, POGROMS, AND EMIGRATION TO THE "GOLDEN LAND"

In the late 19th century, in response to an intensifying wave of pogroms and state-tolerated anti-Semitism, the Zionist movement emerged with its solution to the “Jewish Problem.” While some Jews embraced the Zionist message, others vehemently disagreed with its mixture of secularism and nationalism. In the meantime, some Jews choose to emigrate to the United States, a country described lovingly as “Der Goldene Medine”, The Golden Land.

Come join us as we explore this modern chapter in our history and the still relevant lessons it teaches us.

JUDAISM'S POSITIVITY BIAS:
THE JEWISH FORMULA FOR RESILIENCE & SUCCESS

You’re likely familiar with the “The Power of Positive Thinking,” “Think and Grow Rich,” or “Positive Psychology.” Judaism’s positivity bias, rooted in the Torah, predates and is infinitely deeper than any of these modern messages. The Jewish Positivity Bias has been one of the pillars that made us successful and resilient through our long history. In this course, we will explore the richness and depth of this Jewish Positivity Bias and learn how we can uncover, develop, and apply it to our daily lives.
